On August 20, 2026, Space-Time DaoYu received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to conduct commercial trials for satellite IoT services. On the 28th, they mass-produced self-developed low-orbit satellite IoT communication technologies and services installed in Geely Galaxy Warship 700, achieving the first large-scale application of such services in low-orbit satellites worldwide. This move marks the successful implementation of China’s commercial low-orbit satellite IoT constellation in intelligent connected vehicles, transitioning the industry from “infrastructure projects” to “sustainable operational services” and reshaping valuation benchmarks. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved Space-Time DaoYu to provide wide-coverage, low-power connection services based on their self-developed constellation over the next two years, with pilot implementations in areas such as intelligent connected vehicles and construction machinery, while simultaneously advancing next-generation technology trials. Satellite communication antennas and terminals will upgrade the vehicle network to a dual-channel architecture of ground network and low-orbit satellites, ensuring that vehicles can still report locations, track trajectories, and trigger accident alerts in areas without ground signals, such as mountains and oceans.
