Xinlian Integration has signed a new strategic cooperation agreement with Li Auto, jointly witnessing the successful production of 8-inch silicon carbide wafers. This marks the deepening of their cooperation. Previously, in March 2024, both parties focused on joint research in the field of automotive-grade silicon carbide; in February 2025, Xinlian Integration achieved mass production of 6-inch silicon carbide wafers, which were used in Li Auto’s i-series high-voltage pure electric vehicles. As the first company in China to achieve mass production of 8-inch silicon carbide wafers, Xinlian Integration has completed the seamless transition from 6-inch to 8-inch production lines through vertical supply chain integration and line upgrades. The newly produced 8-inch silicon carbide wafers will enter the SOP mass production phase, marking another key milestone after the mass production of 6-inch products. In the future, both parties will accelerate the large-scale mass production of 8-inch silicon carbide chips, continuously improve core products, and expand cooperation to new areas such as automotive thermal management systems.
