On September 7, 2026, the 11th World Robot Conference was held in Beijing. For the first time, a “Procurement Day” was established, indicating that the focus of the industry has shifted to supply-demand matching and market transactions. Currently, China’s robot industry ranks among the top globally, with enterprises above a certain scale achieving revenue exceeding 300 billion yuan by 2025. However, going global poses four major challenges: market access barriers, compliance issues related to data algorithms, intellectual property risks, and insufficient ecological coordination. Since robots are composite products that combine hardware, algorithms, and data, traditional foreign trade models cannot be easily applied. It is recommended to maintain two-way collaboration at home and abroad: strengthen legal due diligence and hierarchical evaluation of overseas access rules; establish a data compliance system tailored to specific scenarios and implement an algorithm risk self-assessment mechanism; improve the entire chain of intellectual property defense and rights protection mechanisms, and explore various solutions such as arbitration; create an ecosystem for going global, promote cluster-based expansion, and deeply participate in the formulation of international standards.
