According to the new national standard “Safety Technical Specifications for Electric Bicycles” (GB 17761—2024), starting from September 1, 2025, it is no longer allowed to produce or sell electric bicycles that do not meet the new standards and have not obtained CCC certification. The transition period for selling old vehicles ends on November 30, 2025.
