National Copyright Administration: Intensify efforts to combat software infringement, and support software companies in protecting their rights overseas
The National Copyright Administration issued the “15th Five-Year Plan for Copyright Work”, proposing to intensify efforts against software infringement by 2030 and support software companies in safeguarding their rights overseas. The plan clarifies the achievements of joint supervision on software authenticity, promotes the integration of software authenticity with informatization efforts, consolidates results achieved by government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and financial institutions, and advances authenticity in key industries such as education and health. At the same time, it improves the collaborative protection mechanism with judicial authorities, strengthens the connection between administrative law enforcement and criminal justice, deepens interdepartmental cooperation, and enhances the copyright credit supervision system and dispute mediation mechanisms. The plan sets main targets for the 15th Five-Year period: the goal for national work registration by 2030 is 9.5 million pieces; the goal for computer software copyright registration by 2030 is 4 million pieces; the goal for the amount of financing registered under copyright property rights by 2030 is 12 billion yuan; and the goal for the proportion of the value added of the copyright industry in GDP by 2030 is 7.53%.
