Nvidia released the 616.86 hotfix driver: fixes browser glitches and black screen issues in remote desktops.

Nvidia has released the 616.86 hotfix driver aimed at addressing three issues encountered by some users after updating the driver: intermittent screen flickering when browsing certain websites, inability to create virtual monitors, and black screens during RDP sessions. This patch is based on the Game Ready 616.64 driver and will be integrated into future official driver versions. 616.86 is an optional hotfix; its quality assurance process is shorter than that of regular WHQL drivers. It supports 64-bit systems running Windows 10 and 11, and is suitable for GeForce RTX 50/40/30 series graphics cards. Users need to visit the NVIDIA customer support page to download and install this patch manually; it will not be pushed through the NVIDIA App. After installation, the NVIDIA App may still display the date of the older driver version, which is normal and does not indicate a failure in the installation.
