A sample of Qualcomm’s sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Edition chip was revealed, with a maximum clock speed of 5,068MHz. The chip features a 2+3+3 cluster of 8 cores based on SM8975, where the first and second groups of cores have frequency ranges of 288MHz to 3,744MHz and 288MHz to 4,032MHz respectively, and the third group consists of 2 cores with a frequency range of 288MHz to 5,068MHz. The GPU is Adreno 850, consistent with earlier leaks from Geekbench. Another user shared on the Xianyu platform samples of SM8975 chips with LPDDR5 versions, stating that the clock speed is only 4GHz, and versions 100 and 101 are both low-clock-speed versions.
