On September 5, the 8th “Zongheng” Cybersecurity Innovation Forum was held in Guiyang, Guizhou. This forum was jointly organized by the National University of Defense Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, and China Electronics Industry Group Co., Ltd. Its purpose was to create a high-level dialogue platform for cross-industry integration and military-civilian collaboration, promoting deep integration in resource sharing, collaborative innovation, and joint education, thereby contributing to the construction of a cyberpower and a military force strengthened by technology. 19 academicians from the two academies and nearly 1,800 guests attended the forum. The forum adopted the “dual-city linkage” model in Guiyang and Haikou, releasing three reports including the “Analysis Report on Research Hotspots in Cybersecurity,” and organizing activities such as youth talent introduction exchanges and achievement transformation docking meetings. As an authoritative academic event held continuously since 2018, the “Zongheng” Forum has become a platform for uniting military and civilian efforts and leading technological innovation over the years.
