On September 5, 2026, the thirtieth event of Lujiazui Financial Salon focused on “Patient Capital Empowering Green Transformation”. To address the three major challenges faced by financial institutions in participating in green finance, namely “unclear visibility, unclear calculations, and inability to manage effectively”, Pudong New Area launched a climate investment and financing platform. By introducing the “AI+expert review” mechanism, the review cycle was reduced to 10 days, and a climate benefit disclosure index system and a climate risk map with a precision of 30 meters were established, aiming to reduce the costs of project screening and risk assessment. At the same time, Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange promoted the deepening of industrial-financial collaboration and international product innovation in carbon finance. Shanghai Bank advocated for creating carbon reduction and energy-saving services around five key scenarios, while China Chengxin Green Gold Technology suggested that companies improve the quality of ESG disclosure to enhance the green finance ecosystem.
