Anthropic has announced the launch of the “Enterprise Frontier Protection” (EFS) solution, which combines Zero Data Retention (ZDR) with advanced misuse detection capabilities. This solution stores data in customer-controlled cloud infrastructure. EFS will be rolled out to customers phase-by-phase later this year. Currently, Fable 5 and Fable 5.1 models still offer ZDR before they become EFS-compliant. This solution was developed jointly by over 100 customers from industries such as finance and healthcare, as well as partners from AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. It supports multiple platforms including Claude Code and Claude Enterprise. To address the risk of misuse of AI models, Anthropic has introduced a 30-day data retention policy to support time-and-account-based behavioral analysis, aimed at meeting regulatory standards rather than for training enterprise data.
