Stellantis has launched refurbished high-voltage power batteries, with performance and warranty conditions consistent with those of original parts

Stellantis’ Circular Economy division, SUSTAINera, has officially launched refurbished high-voltage batteries. Their performance and warranty standards are identical to those of the original MOPAR components. The scope of this refurbishment has expanded to include key components such as high-voltage batteries, electric compressors, and electrified dual-clutch transmissions for pure electric and hybrid vehicles. All refurbished parts are manufactured in strict accordance with OEM specifications, allowing for up to 80% less raw material usage compared to new parts and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by up to 40%. Previously, SUSTAINera has used some refurbished batteries in fixed-energy storage systems at Rome Airport. Stellantis plans to showcase this product at the Frankfurt Automechanika exhibition (September 8–12) in booth F84-E84, and demonstrate the practical value of its circular economy solutions through on-site workshops for repair shops, dealers, and consumers.
