The “Huawei ICT Academy Shengtong Developer College Training Camp” was held at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2026. Organized jointly by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, more than 70 students participated in three days of systematic learning and practice. The event focused on AI fundamentals, operator development, open-source large models, and other topics, aiming to enhance students' Shengtong development skills and engineering实践能力. Gao Peng, deputy dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, said that both parties will continue to deepen integration of industry and education, striving to cultivate engineering-oriented artificial intelligence talents with theoretical knowledge, practical abilities, and independent innovation spirit. Wang Xin, deputy director of Huawei’s China Industry Development and Ecosystem Department, emphasized that Huawei will use an integrated model of “courses, training, competitions, and selection” to help students at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications master core skills and jointly cultivate domestic AI technology talents. During the event, a media salon was also held, where representatives from universities, industries, and students shared and exchanged ideas on collaborative education for AI talent development.
