Xingji Yǒng and Zhang Weijie, angel investor in Jianyuan Technology’s Series A financing, step into commercial aerospace 2.0: Shenkong Matrix receives financing worth hundreds of millions of yuan
Beijing DeepSpace Matrix Technology Co., Ltd. recently completed angel investment worth hundreds of millions of yuan, led jointly by Dinghui VGC and Linge Venture Capital. The company was established this year, and its founder, Zhang Weijie, originally engaged in securities investment business, now focuses on building satellite networks. This is the second external funding for the company, following a seed round financing of tens of millions of yuan in April. The company plans to build a low-orbit intelligent satellite network and target overseas markets such as ASEAN and Africa. Its “StarRing Project” Phase 1 involves approximately 210 low-orbit satellites, aiming to create an integrated network of communication, remote sensing, and computing, to address the issue of data separation in traditional remote sensing services. Currently, the financing is focused on research and development and engineering verification. The company’s technical team covers areas such as satellite architecture, space-based intelligence, and AI chips. It plans to connect with upstream rocket and satellite platform companies as well as downstream remote sensing analysis clients, and conduct on-orbit testing to advance system deployment.
