The Asia-Pacific Media High-End Forum’s power backup task was completed
On September 5th, the Asia-Pacific Media High-End Forum was held in Shenzhen. Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau provided high-reliability power support for the forum by utilizing the country’s first “Electric Hong” data-based intelligent power protection system. Through technologies such as electric Hongmeng and digital twins, the bureau created a transparent monitoring system that covered the entire process from the user end to 500-kilovolt substations and lines. Previously, Qianhai Power Supply Company had installed 187 electric Hongmeng-compatible IoT terminals, including smart covers and fiber-optic temperature measurement devices, in the low-voltage distribution rooms of the venue, enabling real-time data upload from front-end equipment. During the forum, Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau also used robotic dogs and high-altitude cameras to conduct inspections on underground cables and high-altitude lines. Currently, over 2,600 “Electric Hongmeng” monitoring terminals have been installed in the Shenzhen power grid, eliminating barriers to data exchange between equipment and promoting the deep integration of new production factors such as the Internet of Things and big data into the power protection system.
