The 11th “Maker China” Special Competition concluded, focusing on strengthening the instrument and sensor industry.

The awarding ceremony of the 11th “Maker China” High-End Scientific Instruments, Equipment, and Sensor SMEs Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held on September 4 in Huairou District, Beijing. This year’s competition lasted four and a half months, with 242 projects submitted, a 33% increase from previous years. The projects came from 43 cities in 21 provinces across the country, and the total exposure reached over 6 million views nationwide. The semi-final presentations were held in Suzhou, Haidian, and Huairou, and 54 projects advanced to the final. Nine specialized training sessions were also organized to support the participating teams. A total of 24 awards were given during the competition, with the winning projects addressing critical industrial challenges.
