More than 20 organizations including Kyocera of Japan have formed an enterprise alliance to promote the implementation of physical artificial intelligence in manufacturing.
On September 1, 2026, more than 20 organizations including Kyocera and Kobe Steel in Japan announced the formation of an enterprise alliance to jointly promote the application of physical artificial intelligence (AI) in the manufacturing industry. The alliance plans to officially launch a four-year project in October this year. The participating companies will provide data to ARUM’s AI-automated machine tool “TTMC”. After training, TTMC can quickly generate manufacturing processes based on drawings and perform tasks such as automatic cutting and processing, aiming to adapt to high-efficiency production scenarios with small batches and multiple products.
