The mass-supplier snack company Mingming Very Busy Group introduced a compensation scheme of “advance payment + tenfold price difference compensation” in response to disputes over weighing at stores. On September 7, its brands “Snack Very Busy” and “Zhao Yiming Snacks” announced the establishment of a special fund. Starting from September 7, 2026, in addition to the industry-standard threefold price difference compensation, products with incorrect weights will be compensated tenfold. All stores will be equipped with standard weights, and scales will be calibrated before each store opens daily. A national scale monitoring system will be implemented for real-time monitoring and alerting. Mingming Very Busy stated that it had actively contacted the market supervision department to report the situation and apologize, and at the same time strengthened employee evaluation and accountability. Recently, special rectifications on weighing in mass-supplier snacks have been carried out in many places. In Inner Mongolia Baotou, Shanxi Yuncheng, Jiangsu Yancheng, and other areas, electronic pricing scales at stores of brands such as “Zhao Yiming” have been inspected and rectified. The 2026 semi-annual report showed that Mingming Very Busy’s revenue reached 44.997 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 60%; in the first half of the year, 4,457 new stores were added, with an annual target of over 8,000 new stores. As of the close on September 7, Mingming Very Busy’s stock price fell 3.46%, reporting 391.2 Hong Kong dollars per share.
