Tesla announced the launch of “Special Care Benefits for Vehicle Loss Users”. There are no restrictions on the original vehicle brand or model. Those who place orders for Model S/3/X/Y by September 30 (inclusive) can receive a cash discount of 800 yuan, which can be directly deducted from the order balance. Tesla stated that the period for claiming vehicle loss is from September 1, 2026, until the end of the campaign. The owner of the lost old vehicle and the newly purchased Tesla must be the same person (based on the owner indicated in the vehicle registration). The compensation for lost old vehicles will be provided by Tesla’s partner insurance companies: People’s Property Insurance Company of China, Ping An Property Insurance Company of China, Pacific Property Insurance Company of China, China Life Property Insurance Company, Taiping Property Insurance Company, and Sunshine Property Insurance Company. To participate in the campaign, a loss agreement issued by the insurance company is required.
