The country’s first high-altitude tunnel-based computing power center was officially completed on September 8, 2026, at the Lianghe River Hydropower Station in Yalong River. This project was jointly developed by Guotou Group Yalong River Company and China Telecom Sichuan Company, with a total investment of approximately 350 million yuan. Utilizing a 2,800-meter deep tunnel left from construction and natural cold sources, the PUE was controlled within 1.2, achieving a computing power of 600PFLOPS. Currently, Ascend 910C super nodes have been deployed, and the feasibility of a token factory on the western Sichuan Plateau is being evaluated. Phase II plans to expand to a ten-thousand-card cluster, with expected completion by the end of 2026. There are currently 30 available tunnels in the Yalong River basin, with a total length of 22,500 meters. In the future, they will be able to support approximately 100,000 P domestic computing power. This project is expected to establish a replicable construction model.
全国首个高海拔隧洞式算力舱智算中心在雅砻江两河口水电站建成，算力规模达 600PFLOPS。该项目由国投集团雅砻江公司与中国电信四川公司联合共建，总投资约 3.5 亿元，复用施工遗留的 2800 米深隧洞，利用天然冷源将 PUE 控制在 1.2 以内。目前部署了昇腾 910C 超节点，正论证川西高原 token 工厂可行性；二期拟扩容至万卡集群，预计 2026 年底前点亮。雅砻江流域现有 30 条可用隧洞，总长 2.25 万米，可支撑 10 万 P 国产化算力，未来将形成可复制建设模式。
