On September 7, 2026, arXiv cs.AI published a study on “Role-Aware Artificial Intelligence”. This method aims to track the functional roles of AI in natural language generation by embedding the potential roles specified in the prompts into the probabilistic generation process, thereby restoring the participatory nature of AI. The study was conducted in two scenarios: one as an auxiliary agent for editing human-written content, and the other as a creative agent for generating new content based on brief concepts. The experimental results show that this new method is effective in distinguishing roles, resisting perturbation, and maintaining language quality.
本研究提出一种新方法，旨在追踪自然语言生成中人工智能所扮演的功能角色。该方法通过推断提示词中指定的潜在角色，将其嵌入概率生成过程，并从中恢复人工智能参与的性质。实验在两种代表性场景下进行：一是作为辅助代理编辑人类撰写的内容，二是作为创意代理基于简短概念生成新内容。实验结果表明，该提出的方法在区分角色、抵御扰动以及保持语言质量方面具有有效性。
