Wei Brand under Great Wall Motors announced that its Gao Shan family will introduce new models. The new PHEV model will be officially launched in September 2026 and will be sold alongside the current models; the HEV version is scheduled to be available in the fourth quarter of the same year, also available simultaneously with the current products. The new models will offer two different styles and positions to meet the diverse needs of users. Previously, the 410th batch of announcements from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology indicated that Great Wall Wei’s new Gao Shan 8 Hi4 and Gao Shan 9 have completed their registration and have been updated in their front designs. The Gao Shan 9 is a six-seater MPV with dimensions of 5410×1960×1890mm in length, width, and height, and a wheelbase of 3275mm; the Gao Shan 8 Hi4 is a seven-seater hybrid multi-purpose vehicle that uses a gasoline/electric hybrid system and does not allow external charging. Its dimensions are 5280×1960×1900mm, with a wheelbase of 3145mm. The current Gao Shan models are available at an introductory price of 265,800 yuan.
