The Haier Smart Home IFA 2026 exhibition focused on the upgrade from smart home appliances to smart homes. The exhibition showcased Haier’s latest developments in the field of smart homes, including whole-house smart solutions, AIoT ecosystem platforms, and smart home scenario applications. By integrating multi-modal technologies such as voice, vision, and sensing, Haier has created an end-to-end smart home ecosystem, achieving a transition from individual product intelligence to scenario-based intelligence.
# Haier Smart Home IFA2026: Upgrading from Smart Home Appliances to Intelligent Home
Berlin, a city that discovers new possibilities in change, welcomed the 102nd IFA Consumer Electronics Show on September 4, 2026. As one of the core exhibition areas, Haier Smart Home showcased its comprehensive intelligent living solutions, moving from single hardware products to “AI products + AI scenarios + AI-based lifestyles”.
Unlike previous attempts focused on making home appliances more intelligent, the AI products exhibited by Haier Smart Home have gone beyond functional levels, becoming new entities capable of listening, viewing, and thinking. For example, the world’s first AI cell-level defrosting refrigerator can identify the type and quantity of food ingredients and match the best preservation methods; the four-cylinder AI washing and cleaning smart device can complete the entire washing process in one go, warning against color mixing before washing, automatically adjusting the program based on foam levels during washing, and actively reminding users to pick up clothes after washing. When these AI products work together to form AI scenarios and are integrated with service robots, the vision of a home without human involvement has been initially realized.
But Haier Smart Home hasn’t stopped there. Its intelligent experience is moving from “at home”…
Haier will showcase its three brands, Haier, Candy, and Hoover, at IFA 2026, presenting new AI-related products across various categories as well as an integrated smart living network for “people, vehicles, homes, and communities”. The company will also announce its future five-year development plan for Europe, focusing on local research and development centers, intelligent factories, and innovative scene upgrades. During the extreme heat in Europe earlier this year, Haier’s Jiaozhou interconnection factory delivered over 70,000 sets of air conditioners within just 10 days, demonstrating the collaborative efficiency of the entire production chain. Through the hOn platform, Haier enables interconnectivity among multiple brands, shifting competition from individual product comparisons to comprehensive user management in all scenarios, transforming hardware into a service platform for continuous iteration. In 2026, Haier aims to create an AI-native organization, building a three-dimensional system featuring “large-scale models in the sky, intelligent entities in the air, and AI terminals on the ground,” and expanding into new areas such as household automation and health care. The industry believes that this ecological strategy promotes deep interconnection among six major industries, forming an organic and collaborative ecosystem.
