On September 8, 2026, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. signed a “15th Five-Year” strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. Chen Jining, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Zhu Zhongming, Deputy Mayor and Acting Mayor, met with Ke Ruiwen, Chairman of China Telecom Group, and Liu Guiqing, General Manager.
