American network equipment manufacturer Ubiquiti officially launched the enterprise-level L3 core switch ECS-Core on September 3, 2026. This device features a 1U rack-mounted design, equipped with 32 100Gbps QSFP28 ports, non-blocking throughput of 3.2Tbps, and a forwarding rate of 2.8Bpps. ECS-Core supports MC-LAG multi-chassis link aggregation and various Layer 3 and Layer 2 functions, and is equipped with redundant power modules and 5 hot-pluggable fans. During the same period, Ubiquiti also released the enterprise-level L3 PoE+++ switch ECS-48S-PoE, which has 32 2.5G RJ-45 ports, 16 10G RJ-45 ports, 1 1G RJ-45 port, 4 25G SFP28 ports, and 2 100G QSFP28 ports, supporting multi-rate upstream capabilities. The prices of the two new products are $4,999 and $3,999 respectively.
