Tesla Cybercab will support direct connection with PS/Xbox consoles
On September 6, 2026, Tesla launched the Cybercab commercial passenger service in Austin, USA. This driverless taxi lacks a steering wheel and pedals, and is equipped with a 22-inch central screen, in-car gaming apps, and the Starlink satellite network. Elon Musk revealed that passengers will be able to directly connect to PlayStation or Xbox consoles in the future, but it remains unclear whether the connection will be via HDMI video input or only through controllers. Initially, USB-C controllers can be used to access Tesla Arcade, and new features may be added for use with portable devices such as the Steam Deck. This move aims to enhance the mobile entertainment and work experience in autonomous driving scenarios.
