“Roller Coaster Star” developer Frontier has announced a partnership with Disney to develop a new game based on Disney IPs
Game developer Frontier Developments announced an agreement with Disney to develop and release a new game based on Disney IP. Frontier will fund the entire development of this new game, leveraging its experience and technical expertise in creative management simulation games. Given that Frontier has previously developed “Kinect: Disneyland Adventures” and the “Jurassic World: Evolution” series, it is widely expected that this collaboration will result in a simulation game themed around Disneyland. The specific gameplay, platform release, and timing for the game’s launch have not been announced yet. Additionally, Frontier is currently developing an unannounced new title in the “Planet” series. In its 2026 fiscal year, revenue increased by 16% to £104.8 million, with creative management simulation games accounting for 90% of that year’s revenue.
