How does AI affect the lives of young people? The “2026 Interesting Lifestyle Report” is released.

On September 4, the “2026 Interesting Lifestyle Report” was released in Longgang District, Shenzhen. Launched by China News Weekly, the report surveyed 4,747 young people nationwide to analyze the impact of AI on careers, health, and consumption. On that day, the country’s first AI service street in Longgang was officially opened, marking a new stage in the scaled-up development of Longgang’s artificial intelligence industry ecosystem. The report shows that the focus of AI is no longer “whether to use it” but “how to use it better”. In terms of careers, over 90% of people consider AI a standard feature for work and learning; in terms of consumption, 70% hope AI will provide healthy meals, and 80% regard AI short dramas as an “electronic snack”. The report points out that, facing robots that are about to enter households, young people prefer them to do work rather than accompany them, and the price should preferably not exceed 10,000 yuan.
