“Rapid Flow: The Potential and Anchors of China’s Tech Investment”
In August, the China Technology Industry Investment Conference will be held in Beijing. In the first quarter of 2026, the Chinese venture capital market saw a 52% increase in financing events, with a total amount of 256 billion yuan disclosed; the scale of funds raised through Hong Kong stock IPOs increased by 488.81% year-on-year. Hard technology companies such as AI and semiconductors became the main driving forces. The activity in the primary market improved, with the leading firms playing a significant role. Capital was focused on high-probability sectors such as AI and embodied intelligence. In terms of exit, mergers and reorganizations, as well as the scale of S funds, exceeded 10 trillion yuan. The valuation logic in the secondary market inversely calibrated the primary market. In August, Jiazi Guangnian will release the “2025-2026 China Technology Industry Investment List”, covering 31 sub-lists in seven major areas: artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and intelligent manufacturing, aiming to identify long-term value and explore pathways for industrial resource restructuring.
