As silicon photonics technology accelerates its commercialization, there is a severe shortage of CPO (co-packaged optical) testing equipment. Domestic manufacturers such as Shangyin Group, Dayin Microsystems, Zhide, and Roslin have reached full capacity, and some key devices and precision components are in short supply. Driven by the growing demand for AI computing power, orders for silicon photonics testing equipment have surged since the third quarter, resulting in delivery times extending to three to nine months. Against this backdrop, international customers have continuously placed additional orders, forcing related suppliers to work overtime to meet delivery deadlines. A-share companies such as Lianxun Instruments and Robotek have seen significant increases in revenue and profits recently, confirming the expected value enhancement from the restructuring of the testing chain and the demand for domestic equipment.
