As artificial intelligence agents accelerate their entry into the Southeast Asian market, there is a structural mismatch between technological supply and market demand. Although many governments and companies are actively developing AI applications, the current core challenge lies not in technology itself, but in the lack of talented individuals with local cultural understanding, language skills, and experience in implementation. Existing reports indicate that the hindrance in promoting these agents in Southeast Asia is mainly due to the shortage of localized operations teams, which makes it difficult for products to adapt to local user habits and business scenarios.
