Chongqing Zhangxue Motor Industry Co., Ltd. was successfully approved to add the “electric motorcycles” product category. This change marks the first time that Zhangxue Motor has obtained the qualifications for electric motorcycle production. Previously, the company’s founder, Zhang Xue, revealed the technical details of its first electric motorcycle equipped with self-developed ZDYD motors: the motor has a diameter of 200 millimeters, weighs 8 kilograms, with an output power of 50 kilowatts and a torque of 90N·m. This motor supports a range of 300 kilometers, and it only takes 15 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% of the battery capacity. Based on these performance characteristics, Zhangxue plans to launch a large scooter model with a total weight of approximately 170 kilograms and a pre-sale price of over 30,000 yuan.
