On September 8, 2026, Baidu held a new product launch event in Beijing, announcing that the “Baidu Partner” capability framework would be fully integrated into Xiaodu smart screens, friends devices, cameras, and speakers, thereby enabling Baidu’s intelligent technologies to officially enter household spaces. The upgraded Super Xiaodu now has the ability to independently identify targets, coordinate tools, and deliver tasks in a closed-loop manner. It provides voice commands and data reports in scenarios such as household schedule management, child tutoring, and smart care. Four new hardware products equipped with intelligent technologies were launched during this event, three of which have already been released, and another, the Pro Max smart speaker, will be available on September 28.
