This study conducts a systematic analysis of the AI investments in 146 projects of the U.S. Navy for fiscal year 2025, based on the AI keywords defined by the European Commission. The findings show that the U.S. Navy primarily uses four models: hyperpersonalization, recognition, predictive analysis and decision-making, and autonomous systems. These models, along with their combinations, are most commonly used in autonomous systems such as unmanned surface vessels, amphibious unmanned platforms, and drones.
