On August 17, 2026, tech media TechCrunch reported that Uber officially integrated its drone delivery service partnered with Zipline into its Eats delivery platform. This partnership aims to utilize Zipline’s advanced vertical takeoff and landing capabilities as well as autonomous flight technology to provide fast and reliable air delivery solutions for emergency supplies such as food and medicine to users in specific areas. This marks an important step for Uber in building a diversified logistics network.
