On September 7, 2026, Huawei unveiled several new devices equipped with eSIM functionality at the HarmonyOS 7 launch event. The Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master and Pura X View smartphones released on that day both support eSIM technology, allowing up to two eSIM numbers to be stored per device. Currently, this feature requires users to activate relevant services from their operators, and it is only provided by certain operators. In terms of number combinations, a single eSIM-enabled phone can support up to four numbers (i.e., two physical cards plus two eSIMs), and both numbers can be used simultaneously. Additionally, the Pura X Max, WATCH 6, and WATCH Ultimate 2, also released that day, all support eSIM functionality.
