Real Test of Ctrip's AI: Has the True Breakthrough Just Begun?
In the first half of 2026, Feipig announced an upgrade to its AI capabilities for the consumer market, launching “Feipig Help”. This initiative aims to create a complete closed loop from “interaction to transaction” through AI agents. The product not only offers itinerary planning and “copying guides” functions but also extends services to the execution phase of trips, supporting users in placing orders via natural language, handling flight booking and seat selection, and dealing with minor tasks such as requesting room upgrades. In terms of interaction, Feipig abandoned the simple embedded interface and adopted a combination of LUI and GUI. A smart panel is integrated with search bars and order pages, allowing users to freely switch between semi-floating and full-floating modes. Feipig’s CEO, Zhuang Zhuoran, proposed that in the future, there may not be traditional OTA services, but rather Omni-intelligence Travel Agents, aiming to reform industry rules to address the current situation of low-quality competition.
