On September 9, 2026, a new batch of highway battery swapping stations jointly built by NIO Motors and Yunnan Transportation Investment Group (Yunnan Jiao Tou) was officially put into operation. These new facilities are located along several highways in Yunnan Province, aiming to improve the energy replenishment efficiency of new energy vehicles during long-distance trips. This cooperation not only expanded the coverage of the battery swapping network but also promoted the use of operational chat tools and mini-programs in smart transportation scenarios, providing car owners with more convenient guidance and experience for battery swapping.
