Pixel-level plagiarism against Xiaomi? Jiefu Alpha T7, priced at 130,000 yuan, crashes while celebrating its success
The promotional CG of the Arcfox Alpha T7 was accused of pixel-level plagiarism from the Xiaomi YU7, causing public controversy. The original team VST.auto claimed that the entire video was almost a 1:1 copy, with highly similar camera movements, scene structures, and narrative logic. Despite continuous mockery in the comments section, Arcfox still announced that orders for the vehicle exceeded 30,000 within 72 hours of pre-sale launch. The design of the Alpha T7 follows the YU7 formula, featuring a low-profile coupe shape, a removed dashboard, and a wide panoramic P-HUD. With a length of 5020mm and a wheelbase of 3040mm, the pre-sale price range is between 137,800 and 174,800 yuan. The vehicle is equipped with top-tier components such as Huawei’s Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 Pro, CATL batteries, and Magna chassis. The article pointed out that this model is seen as a “substitute version” of the YU7, and the pre-sale orders include a large number of refundable deposits, questioning its authenticity. Previously, Audi removed a video due to plagiarism in its promotional content and apologized, yet Arcfox still refuses to respond this time.
