Spanish AI company Multiverse Computing has launched the Quasar 438B model, which scored 43 in Intelligence Index v4.1.1, ranking highest among European models compared. This model has 43.8 billion parameters and is designed as an inference model, supporting English and Spanish. It can be accessed through the CompactifAI API and is currently a proprietary model with undisclosed weights. The Quasar 438B context window supports 1 million tokens, scoring 75.0 in the Artificial Analysis Long Context Reasoning evaluation, making it suitable for processing long texts; it scored 69.3 in the Terminal-Bench v2.1 evaluation.
