At that time, since the ESRB did not allow the release of the video, V社 had to use extreme measures to promote it. The leaked video lasted about 3 minutes and showed scenes of Coach, Ellis, Nick, and Rochelle fighting with weapons in a crowd of zombies, with obvious violent content. Faliszek said that the trailer was leaked due to differences with ESRB, which also led to the need to weaken many of the wording later on. He believes that this happened 20 years ago and there is no risk of getting into trouble now, and it may be impossible to find relevant content related to the leaked *Overgrowth 2* trailer.
