Beijing Track Chen Guang Technology Co., Ltd. has completed Pre-A+ financing, with the funds to be used for research and development of space data centers and verification of computing satellite projects. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology supports research on space computing power, and the global market size is expected to reach 141.3 billion US dollars by 2034. Track Chen Guang was established in December 2024, with plans to deploy computing satellites in twilight orbits to build space data centers. Its first experimental satellite, “Chen Guang-1”, was launched into orbit on July 24, 2026, carrying payloads such as space concentrating solar cells to verify energy acquisition and radiation heat dissipation technologies. The company has previously completed multiple rounds of financing and signed bank credit agreements worth 57.7 billion yuan. Currently, space computing power faces challenges such as high costs and difficulties in on-orbit maintenance. Whether Track Chen Guang will be able to obtain effective on-orbit data and promote stable network formation will be the main focus of observation.
