Neocloud Lambda raised $1 billion in short-term debt, arranged by JPMorgan Chase, specifically for purchasing NVIDIA AI chips and leasing them to Microsoft. This transaction aims to help Lambda quickly deploy hardware and generate revenue to repay its debts. Previously, Lambda had closed a $1 billion secured credit line in May, and this week it announced the closure of another loan worth $926 million, both used for the deployment of NVIDIA GB300 chips. Currently, Lambda is negotiating a pre-IPO financing round worth $3 billion with investors. In November last year, the company raised $1.5 billion in venture capital at a valuation of $5.43 billion. Data shows that by 2026, global banks and technology companies had raised more than $400 billion in AI-related debt financing.
