Beijing LinDong Bionic Technology Co., Ltd. completed Pre-A financing of over ten million yuan, which will be used for research and development as well as the launch of consumer-grade underwater tracking robots. This round of financing was led by Jinqiao Fund, with existing shareholder QijizhuanTang continuing to invest. The company was established in 2024 and is headquartered in Fengtai District, Beijing. It focuses on combining bionic technology with modern intelligent hardware. Its founder, Chu Yichen, is a doctoral student at Northeastern University, and the core team mainly comes from its laboratory, with most members being born after 2000. The company improves stability and efficiency by simulating the movement mechanisms of aquatic organisms. It has independently developed “underdrive” technology to achieve “one drive, multiple movements”, reducing the cost of core driving components by approximately 60%. Since achieving mass production in April 2026, the company has shipped over a thousand educational robots within three months. To date, it has developed 23 underwater robot products and plans to launch its first consumer-grade underwater robot in the second half of 2026.
