Ideal Li Xinyang: The 5C supercharge chip used in the 2026 model i6 is self-developed, and its production is commissioned to two partners, Sunwoda and Zhongchuang New Aviation

According to the 411th batch of announcements published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Li Auto’s 2026 i6 model has completed its registration. This model will be equipped with Li Auto’s self-developed 5C supercharging chips and Mach chips, with the core technologies for the battery cells, pack, and battery management system (BMS) all developed by Li Auto itself. In terms of contract manufacturing, the 5C supercharging chips are jointly produced by Xunwangda and Zhongchuang Innovate航, while the pack will be manufactured by Li Auto itself. Li Auto’s choice of dual suppliers aims to ensure supply security and stability for mass production. Previously, Ma Donghui, a senior executive at Li Auto, stated that starting from 2026, all Li Auto models will use both “Li Auto brand” and CATL batteries, with unified performance, quality, and safety standards. Currently, pre-orders for the 2026 i6 are open by the end of September, and delivery will begin in early November.
