On September 7, 2026, arXiv cs.CV published the paper PuTR-CouT, which introduced a counting and tracking method for camera trap image sequences. This method aims to solve the problem of accurately counting the number of targets in continuous image sequences. By combining tracking techniques, it improves the accuracy and robustness of counting, and is suitable for applications such as wildlife monitoring.
