Google is developing the “Cast Trackpad” feature, which allows Android phones to function as wireless touchpads for Chromebooks. This feature supports multi-touch input, gesture operations, and shortcut keys for back navigation and volume adjustment. It also offers sensitivity adjustment options, allowing users to control the connected Chromebook from a certain distance. Additionally, the code has revealed the screen mirroring interface of the “Cast My Apps” application and the “Continue On” feature for task continuation across devices. This feature has not been officially released yet and is still in development.
