Constructed by CIMC Group for Petrobras, the vessel has a total length of 345.3 meters, a width of 64.8 meters, and a draft of 34.3 meters. Its hull weighs over 100,000 tons, with a daily natural gas processing capacity of 10 million cubic meters and a crude oil storage capacity of 2 million barrels. As the world’s first large FPSO using fully electric technology, it features low-carbon technologies such as zero-conventional flare combustion, waste heat recovery, and deep-sea water cooling, reducing greenhouse gas emissions per barrel of oil produced by approximately 30%. It will become one of the platforms with the highest energy efficiency in the world. Once completed, it will be deployed in the ultra-deepwater oil field beneath the salt waters of the Santos Basin in Brazil, producing 225,000 barrels of crude oil daily. This project represents the significant breakthrough in fully electric FPSO construction technology and marks the progress of China’s shipbuilding industry toward high-end marine engineering equipment.
