According to TechCrunch, Nvidia has agreed to acquire the AI platform Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, with the transaction valued at over $13 billion. Previously, Business Insider noted that no formal documents had been signed and there was a possibility of termination, but latest reports indicate that the agreement has been reached. Hugging Face was founded in 2016 and is a major platform for developers to share and download open-source AI models.
