Qiri's intelligentization center may face personnel changes, with Vice President Xie Baojun reportedly having left the company.

Xie Baojun, vice president of Chery Automobile and head of the Intelligent Technology Center, is suspected to have resigned. Internal information indicates that Xie Baojun’s internal Feishu account has been changed to “suspended.” So far, Chery Automobile has not made any public response regarding this matter. Xie Baojun is a senior expert in the field of automotive intelligence. He worked for Geely for a long time in the early years and joined Volvo around 2010. He was responsible for core research and development work in software, electronics, and autonomous driving. After ending his career at Volvo, Xie Baojun transferred to Jikrē, serving as vice president of Jikrē Intelligent Technology and head of the Software and Electronics Center. In October 2024, Xie Baojun left Jikrē and joined Dazhuo Intelligence under Chery, where he was mainly responsible for intelligent driving-related research and development. In May 2025, Chery integrated its internal intelligent technology departments, merging the businesses of Xiongshi Technology, Dazhuo Intelligence, and the Research and Development Institute to establish the Chery Intelligent Technology Center. Xie Baojun served as the actual operational head of this center, overseeing key intelligent technology sectors such as intelligent cockpits, intelligent assisted driving, and digital architecture.
