“5S Water Heating Sleep Protection Group Standard” released
On September 6, Chengdu Rainbow Group, in collaboration with the China Household Electrical Appliance Research Institute, released the “5S Water-Heating Sleep-Care Group Standard”. This standard for the first time incorporated dimensions of sleep comfort such as smoothness, stability, softness, quietness, and safety into the evaluation framework, based on quantitative criteria for a “golden sleep micro-environment”. Song Cong, a professor at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, pointed out that the microclimate of bedding has a direct impact on sleep comfort, and its scientific significance lies in enabling “comfort” to be quantitatively predicted. Liu Bin, general manager of Chengdu Rainbow Group, said that 5S is a quantitative commitment to “good sleep”. Wang Tongsui, general manager of Jiahe (Zhejiang) Inspection and Testing Co., Ltd., emphasized that integrating experience standards into traditional electrical appliance standards represents a breakthrough in the industry, and credibility stems from a detectable and verifiable system. On the same day, the Rainbow Water精灵 water-heating blanket, combined with bionic sensory thermal balance algorithm technology, was also launched for the first time.
